Celeste Berteau
Celeste Berteau picture

Throughout her youth Celeste Berteau was fascinated with her Cajun father’s culture, and after attending college in Michigan, she moved to Louisiana to become more familiar with her French Louisiana roots. She worked as an art consultant and gallery director on Royal Street in New Orleans for over twenty years. In addition to writing fiction, Berteau regularly writes articles on historic sites and towns in Louisiana, many of them inspired by days spent rambling along the back roads of the state with her father.
