John P. Travis
John P. Travis picture

John P. Travis, a former newspaper reporter, is publisher/editor of Portals Press, a small literary press in New Orleans. Portals has published thirty books since 1994. He has also published three volumes of The Maple Leaf Rag anthology. He published two collections by Maxine Cassin: The Other Side of Sleep and Against the Clock. Travis's latest publishing effort is a short story anthology titled Something in the Water: Louisiana Stories.
