Lesley Crawford Costner
Lesley Crawford Costner picture

Lesley Crawford Costner grew up in New Orleans and spent most of her time with her family in the Acadiana area. Her favorite tradition is a special occasion celebrated with un cochon de lait- a suckling pig roasted whole with all the trimmings. Her maternal grandparents were fluent in speaking Cajun French. Though not an author by trade, Costner felt the need to write this tribute to the warmth of Cajun and Creole culture.

Goodnight Acadiana

Acadiana is composed of 22 parishes in southwest Louisiana. This tribute to the bountiful ecosystem and fond traditions of Creoles and Cajuns is beautifully illustrated and presents a foundation for appreciating the singular heritage of this region.
