Missy Crews
Missy  Crews picture

Activist and Educator, Missy Crews, performed with the Miss America USO tour before moving to NYC where she worked in TV, film and print. In Charlotte, NC, Missy was on staff with the Children's Theatre of Charlotte serving as a writer, performer and director. She was also Director for the National program, "Best Friends - Best Men" in the Charlotte school system. She has served as a Special Projects Director for the Manship Theatre and currently is the Campaign Event Coordinator for Baton Rouge's Mayor, Kip Holden

Fifty original essays by chefs, restaurant owners, business owners, waiters, and more are accompanied by fun photographs of monologue subjects, such as beloved restaurants, memorable pies, and food-loving family members. It all started with Café Du Monde, the place you always go for comfort food.
